Good News HIV/AIDS cure found

A cure for HIV could be closer to reality after scientists at Temple University made a breakthrough by using gene-editing technology in mice and rat tissue, allowing them to remove large chunks of the virus’s DNA. While rodents were the test subjects, human testing could be on the way. To help break down the science, RT America’s Manila Chan is joined by Dr. Chen Liang of McGill University, whose work focuses on using gene editing to remove HIV DNA from human cells.
